Missions Ministry is how we are fulfilling the Great Commission (to go disciple all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey all Jesus has commanded) in the spirit of the Great Commandment (loving our neighbors as ourselves). There are many avenues to do this locally, nationally and internationally.
Local:
East County Transitional Living – ECTL is dedicated to ending chronic homelessness in San Diego and beyond. To accomplish this goal ECTL operates several Transitional Living Centers in San Diego’s east county. At these centers there are five separate programs to meet the needs of these homeless persons. Our Set Free Programs are Christ-centered and will bring a person from homelessness to faith in Christ, employed and transitioned to self-sufficiency as productive members of our community. Our Emergency Voucher and Transitional Living programs work closely with all social service providers in our community to find permanent living and long-term programs for those seeking help. The individuals participating in these programs are not required to attend any of the Christ-centered classes or studies, but they are welcome if they choose. These classes include Bible studies, anger management, parenting, substance abuse recovery, life skills, couples, and a host of others. See more about ECTL at www.ectlc.org
East County Pregnancy Care Clinic – East County Pregnancy Care Clinic exists to serve women and their unborn children. They provide accurate information about the developing life in the mother’s womb and life- affirming alternatives to abortion. ECPCC speak the truth in love and offer a loving refuge where each woman will find unconditional love, acceptance and support. East County Pregnancy Care Clinic is truly a safe haven where a woman can make a confident and informed decision regarding her future and the precious life within her. See more about ECPCC
