Welcome to Kids JAM!
KidsJAM is the Children’s ministry department of El Cajon Wesleyan Church. At KidsJAM we want to help our children learn about the awe-inspiring wonder of who God is, how to have a relationship with him, and what it looks like to live our lives for him and through him.

 

Nursery
Birth to 23 months
We use stories, music and age appropriate play to help our infants and toddlers learn that God loves them. Our teachers and volunteers are eager to share the love of Jesus with your little ones.

 

Early Childhood
2-5 years old
As we partner with parents, our goal is to develop a strong long lasting spiritual foundation in the lives of our preschoolers.  Our staff is dedicated and trained to provide a well rounded, hands on joyful, curriculum.

 

Elementary
Kindergarten to 5th Graders
Children need to see that faith matters. We do our best to help them see that it is relevant to our every day life in and out of church. This is our goal as we provide creative hands on curriculum, time to worship our Lord, and time to respond to the Holy Spirit.

 

AWANA is our midweek program for kids from 3-years old to 5th Grade. Our club gathers each Wednesday beginning September 21, 2011 from 6:30PM until 8:00PM for a fun and exciting game time, to study and memorize Bible scripture, and for large group lessons. The focus of our program is to allow children to participate in the process of spiritual growth in a structured, intentional, and enjoyable way.

VOLUNTEERS
At El Cajon Wesleyan Church, we know that children are precious in God’s eyes. Therefore, we take ministering to them very seriously. Our staff and volunteers are at the very heart of this ministry. Whether you’re a teacher, a helper, a greeter, or a leader, you are an integral part of the team. Our ministry is based on our relationships with each other, with God, our friends, and our family. No matter where we are in our walk with Him, we are the best examples for our children on how to not only grow, but to thrive in their relationship with God.
